We investigate some (not necessarily linear) positive mappings in the setting of C -algebras. First, we generalize Lieb functions on C ∗∗-algebras to Lieb positive mappings between Calgebras.We then give some basic properties and important inequalities related to such maps. Next, we study 2-positive and 3-positive maps. Moreover, we study the m-positivity of norms on C∗-algebras.∗
