Introduction of Silkworm Cocoon and its Applications in Various Industries

الياف ابريشمي خواص منحصر بهفردي دارند و يك ماده زيست تخريب پذير محسوب مي شوند. در حال حاضر نخ ابريشمي در ايمپلنت هاي مغزي، ترميم قلب و بيوالكترونيك كاربرد گسترده اي دارند. در اين مطالعه مروري سعي شده است به كاربردهاي پيله و نخ ابريشم در صنايع مختلف پرداخته شود. پيله كرم ابريشم يك تركيب پليمري طبيعي است و از شفيره كرم ابريشم در برابر حملات فيزيكي شكارچيان و محيط محافظت مي كند، به نحوي كه فعاليت متابوليك شفيره داخل پيله حفظ شود. پروتئين هاي اصلي موجود در ساختمان نخ ابريشم، فيبروئين و سريسين است. وجود مقدار زيادي از اسيدهاي آمينه گلايسن و آلانين در فيبروئين، باعث افزايش استحكام در نخ ابريشم مي شود. پروتئين سريسين نيز داراي توالي اسيدهاي آمينه متفاوتي با فيبروئين است و هنگام صمغ گيري از فيبروئين جدا و شسته مي شود. به دليل وجود همين خواص در پيله و نخ ابريشم، اين مواد كاربردهاي متفاوتي در صنايع مختلف دارند كه از جمله اين كاربردها مي توان به نقش پيله كرم ابريشم به عنوان عايق حرارتي، بهبود زخم، حذف نفت از آب، ترميم استخوان آسيب ديده و درمان بيماري صرع اشاره كرد.

Silkworm cocoon is a natural polymer compound and protects silkworm pheasants against the physical attacks of predators and the environment, so that the metabolic activity of the pupae in the cocoon is preserved. The main proteins of silk yarns are fibroin and syrisin. Existence of a large amount of glycine and alanine amino acids in fibroids increases the strength of silk yarn. syrisin protein also has a sequence of amino acids different from the fibroin and is washed and dissociated from the fiber. Due to the same properties in cocoons and silk threads, these materials have different uses in different industries, including the use of silkworm cocoon as thermal insulation, wound healing, oil removal from water, damaged bone repair, and Treatment for epilepsy.
