    A nanoporous open metal site metal-organic framework OMS-Cu(BDC) was a synthesis by a solvothermal method and used as a high surface area solid support for the multi-step grafting of palladium Schiff-base complex. The palladium ions were coordination onto the Schiff-base (4-Py-SI) decorated Cu(BDC) pore cage. The PdII@Cu(BDC)/4-Py-SI catalyst was found to be efficient, selective and heterogeneous green catalyst for the suzuki reaction.
