Due to the resistance of bacteria to antibiotics and usual antimicrobial agents, a lot of researches have done to find new types of effective antimicrobial agents. With development of Nanotechnology, Silver is being used increasingly against all gram negative bacteria and gram positive bacteria in the form of nanoparticles with high antimicrobial activity and low prices. The nano silver with approximate diameter of 20 nanometer from Pishtazan Inc. Mashad, Iran and 5 nanometer from the Department of Chemistry in Maragheh University were prepared. Its concentration was determined by spectroscopy method in University of Tabriz (Chemistry Department). Antimicrobial effects were determined by minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) and Minimum Bactericidal Concentration (MBC) by micro-broth-dilution method, disc diffusion and well diffusion methods. The results of the MIC, MBC against Acinetobacter baumannii on average was 156/25 ppm, 312/5 ppm. Effect of silver nanoparticles on inhibiting the growth of Acinetobacter Baumannii and biofilm arising from it, in a standard form is examined
