Dyes used in many industries, cause pollution and have danger both for nature and human health. So many different methods used to remove dyes from nature and waste waters. One of these functional methods is adsorptive removal and degradation of dye which is simple, fast and low cost. In this study, Methyl Orang (MO) as an organic dye which behaves as pH indicator frequently in titration and ZIF-8 as adsorbent selected. The ability of ZIF-8 to remove of methyl orang was studied and analyzed by UV spectrophotometry. Results showed that methyl orang could be adsorbed by ZIF-8.
