The main aim of this paper is addressing the question
of minimization a functional over the space of W1;p([a; b];SO(N)),
i.e., weakly differentiable loops in orthogonal groups. Instead of
finding the stationary points in the space of weakly differentiable
loops we restricted the energy functional to, so(N), the Lie algebra
of SO(N), which results infinite many critical points related to the
main energy functional.
