In this paper, a concept of generalized contraction
in fuzzy metric spaces is introduced and some new fixed point
theorems are proved. Presented theorems extend and generalize
several recent results given by Samet, Mihet¸ and Jachymski to a
more general class of contractive type mappings in fuzzy metric
spaces. Also, as an application, we use our the results to study
a new fixed point theorem for multivalued mappings in complete
metric spaces
