In this article, we introduce a Galerkin method based on Legendre polynomials for the
approximate solution of delay-fractional differential equations. In addition, the method is
presented with an error estimation. A numerical example is included to demonstrate the
validity and applicability of the technique and comparisions are made with existing results.
