Antibacterial finishing of textiles with natural material is one of the major subjects faced in the field of heal the care and hygiene textiles. In this study the ethanol extracts of salvia officinalis leaf were obtain and treated on the cotton plain woven fabric. The fabrics were tested for its antibacterial activity against bacterial strains like staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and Escherichia coli (E.coli). Results showed that antibacterial activity of cotton fabric finishing via salvia officinalis against S. aureus is much more than E.coli.
چكيده لاتين :
