چكيده فارسي :
A series of activated carbons (ACs) were prepared from Parrotia persica by chemical activation with Zinc chloride for absorbtion of CO2. For the ZnCl2 activated series, BET surface areas of 1924/9 m2/g was obtained from impregnation ratios of IR=1. Three kinds of adsorbents was synthesized with different impregnation ration. The equilibrium adsorption of CO2 on ACs was determined at 298, and pressure range of 1-16 bar. The adsorption behavior, showing a monolayer adsorption capacity for CO2 on prepared ACs. Results demonstrated that with increasing in the concentration of the activation agent, the excessive dehydration and the destruction of prepared activated carbon micropores and turning them to larger pores occurred which reduces the CO2 adsorption efficiency.
