The purpose of this study is to investigate the worn out texture in advanced countries, third world countries and Maragheh city. For this purpose, by using descriptive-analytical method, library and field studies, the present situation has been studied and a sample of global experiences has been investigated. The results indicate that in each country, due to the administrative and political system, certain measures have been taken; in developed countries, there is a systemic regime with a worn-out texture that has led to the revival of these textures. Today, the special attention of researchers has been taken to the ancient tissues of Asian cities. This is due to three main reasons: first, the cities of these countries have a long history of urban civilization. Secondly, often later than the developed European countries, they have become aware of the danger and crisis of the destruction of the cultural heritage of cities, and thirdly, most of them face political-economic problems that do not have the opportunity to address these issues. In the city of Maragheh, the tufted tissue has serious problems in terms of functional, environmental, and physical conditions.
