Matrix classes play a strong role in the theory of linear complementary problems. The case
of nonnegative matrices is important, because the problem of finding a Nash equilibrium point
of a bimatrix game can be formulated as a LCP with M ⩾ 0. In this talk we survey existence
.and uniqueness results stated in terms of the matrix M. We concentrate on copositive matrices
