Application of Birkhoff interpolation method for solving higher order differential equations with separated boundary conditions

In this investigation, a special case of Birkhoff interpolation method is introduced to find the numerical solution of ordinary differential equations with separated boundary conditions. For this kind of interpolation, the explicit representation, the uniqueness and the error function are explicitly given. Finally, this method is applied for solving the nonlinear differential equation governing the squeezing flow between two parallel plates.
