In this paper, we present a modification of the Kehrein-Kreuzer algorithm for computing border bases, using computed syzygies to remove superfluous reductions. We have implemented all the algorithms described in this article in Maple and we evaluate their performances (with the implementation of the Kehrein-Kreuzer algorithm in ApCoCoA software) via a set of benchmark polynomials
