The aim of this paper is to stabilize the unstable disease-free equilibriums of tuberculosis(TB) model via an optimal control strategy. The stability analysis of the biologically feasible equilibriums is studied using a local stability approach. The necessary optimal control inputs for the asymptotic stability are obtained using a proposed Lyapunov function of system densities. Simulation works are given throughout the paper to support the analytical resuls.
