A simple, economical, and environmentally benign protocol has been descri- bed for the synthesis of quinazolin-4(3H)-one derivatives via a one-pot, three component condensation between isatoic anhydride, arylaldehydes and primary amine at 50 °C in AcOH. Th is method offers a considerable number of advantages including short reaction time, high to quantitative yields, low cost, easy accesses , and simple work-up. Th is catalyst show environmental friendly character, which is inexpensive, clean, safe, nontoxic and easily obtained..
