This paper examines another old-new measure of income inequality: the Bonferroni index.
Some features that required to an inequality index are investigated.
We also discuss the
asymptotic distribution of Bonferroni estimator by means of theory of L-estimator. A simulation study based on fitted distribution to real income data is performed in order to investigate the asymptotic behavior of the proposed sampling estimator
