The investigates of relationship bertween finacial performance and economic growth in iran

The paper investigates the relationship between financial performance of companies listed in Tehran Stock Exchange and economic growth in Iran. The investigation has been performed using panel data procedure for a sample of 84 Iranian listed companies on the bursa in Tehran Stock Exchange during 2000-2012. The study uses four performance measures (including (RRS: rate of return on sales, EPSG: earning per share growth, RDPA: rate of dividend pay able, ROE: return on equity, ROI: return on Investment, RI: return on investment and (P/E): earning per share) as independent variable. The one of variable of macroeconomic (including long term gross domestic production: GDP) as dependent variable. But size of companies in this study is a control variable. The data are gathered from into six sectors which are construction, consumer product, industrial product, plantation, property, trading and service. The results indicate that, there is a positive and significant relationship among financial performance of companies and economic growth in Iran. Also this results are able to use of the by decision makers and investors in the Tehran Stock Exchange from of Iran.
