In the present study with the use of the flipped and Brain-Based techniques as the new trend in education or Pedagogy science in today s world, an attempt has been made to take a different step in developing the content of virtual teaching of English. Recently the acquisition of English language in the realm of the globalization of the local potentialities seems crucial. Following this line of approach, the Learning Management System was set up in Allameh Tabataba i University and the content of the virtual General English course was produced with a new approach and via the application of the Articulate Storyline 2 software for the Distance education of university students of different majors. To this end and in order to evaluate the extent of the effect of the flipped and brain-based techniques two groups of students took part in the virtual classes each term. In teaching the first group (31, 15 female students and 16 male students) the flipped method and in the second group (30, 18 females and 12 males) the non-flipped technique were used. In virtual teaching of both groups, the novel brain-based technique was utilized and the Learning Management System of Allameh T. The findings from the T-test (sig.= 0.01), one-way ANOVA and Sheffe test indicated that the teaching techniques had a significant effect on the learning of male/female students who participated in the virtual courses of English and more specifically it had a positive effect on low proficiency learners, which can bear a lot of educational implications for educational system planners particularly virtual and language teaching with the application of flipped method.
