Augmented reality (AR) is a technology that combines the virtual content generated by the
computer with the world around us for better understanding. One way to increase the
quality of teaching is to use the AR technology to transfer the practical knowledge in an
appropriate way. In this paper, an experiment has been arranged to evaluate the impact of
this technology on human learning. In this experiment, individuals are divided into two
groups. The first group uses the traditional method and the second group employs the AR
technology to learn making two boxes. Finally, each person is asked to make boxes without
instructions. An assessment of making boxes indicates the positive impact of the AR
technology on the learning process of individuals. The results show that persons who are
trained in AR make the boxes faster and better than the other group. Moreover, for the
second group the estimation of difficulty in making boxes is more accurate.
