Assessment of culture and citizen participation in sustainable urban development

شهر به عنوان فضايي كه مرتبه نهايي تكامل زيست گاه انسان، مكاني است كه جامعه بشري بخش اعظم عمر خود را در آن سپري مي كند و در آن محيط طبيعي و انسان ساخت به شكل گيري فضاي جغرافيايي كه امكانات لازم را در اختيار اعضاي جامعه مي گذارد شكل مي دهند. روند شهر نشيني از دوران رنسانس و همزمان با انقلاب صنعتي شتاب چشمگيري گرفته است به طوري كه تا سال 2050 ميلادي بيش از 70 درصد جمعيت دنيا ساكن شهرها هستند. ﺗﻐﻴﻴﺮ ﺳﺒﮏ ﻫﺎي ﺯﻧﺪﮔﯽ ﺩﺭ ﻃﻮﻝ ﭼﻬﺎﺭ ﺩﻫﻪ ﺍﺧﻴﺮ ﺗﻘﺮﻳﺒﺎ ﻫﻤﻴﺸﻪ ﺑﺎ ﺍﻓﺰﺍﻳﺶ ﻣﺼﺮﻑ ﺍﻧﺮژي ،ﻣﻨﺒﻊ ﺍﺻﻠﯽ ﺁﻟﻮﺩﮔﯽ ﻭ ناپايداري ﺗﻮﺳﻌﻪ ﻫﻤﺮﺍﻩ ﺑﻮﺩﻩ ﺍﺳﺖ.بنابراين با توجه به چنين مشكلاتي پژوهشگران و برنامه ريزان شهري نظريه توسعه پايدار شهري را به عنوان روشي نوين جهت حل بسياري از مشكلات موجود در مسير مديريت كارآمد شهري مطرح كردند. در اين ميان با توجه به فرهنگ شهروندان و نيز امر مشاركت آنان در شهرها مي تواند نقش مهمي را در رسيدن به اصل توسعه پايدار شهري ايفا نمايد. روش اصلي در اين پژوهش تحليلي و بر مطالعات كتابخانه اي و اسنادي استوار است و هدف آن بررسي تاثير فرهنگ و مشاركت فرهنگي شهروندان در ابعاد توسعه پايدار است. نتايج حاصل از اين تحقيق نشان مي دهد كه توسعه پايدار شهري جز در سايه برخورداري شهروندان از فرهنگ شهري و مديريت كارآمد برنامه ريزي صحيح شهري محقق نمي شود. در انتها نيز به ارائه راهكارهايي جهت تقويت فرهنگ شهروندي پرداخته ايم.

The city serves as the final space of human evolution , where the human society spends much of its life ,and in which the natural and human environment is constructed in the form of geography . The city s process of urbanization has been accelerated by the industrial revolution , so that more than70 percent of the world s population is populated by 2050 . Lifestyle change during the last four decades has often accompanied the increase in energy consumption the main source of pollution and the instability of development . Thus , according to such problems , researchers and urban planners proposed a sustainable urbandevelopment theory as a new way to solve many problems on effective urban management path . In the meantime , according to the culture of citizens and their participation in cities , they can play animportant role in achieving the principle of sustainable urban development . The main method in this analytic study is based on the studies of the library and the documentation ofthe literature , which aims to examine the impact of culture and cultural participation in the dimensionsof sustainable development . The results of this study suggest that sustainable urban development is not realized except in shadow ofthe presence of citizens from urban culture and effective urban management . Finally , we havepresented solutions to strengthen the culture of citizenship.
