Let G be a molecular graph. The edge modified eccentric connectivity index of G is defined as Λ_e (G)=∑_(f∈E(G))▒〖n_G (f)ecc (f)〗, in which, n_G (f) is the sum of the degrees of neighborhoods of an edge f. In this paper, this index for a molecular graph of benzenoid family are computed.
