In this research, a novel application of operation research is used for modelling healthcare services during and after disasters. Asmanaging the blood supply is highly important in disasters, therefore, a mixed integer programming model is developed foreffective blood collection and distribution during and after disaster. The proposed optimization model assists in blood facilitylocation and allocation decisions, and decisions for routing such that the total costs of blood supply chain and also blood shortage isminimized. The application of developed model is investigated by solving ten sample instances which were generated randomly. The samples in small, medium and large size were solved by CPLEX solver of GAMS software and the obtained results arepresented. Finally, sensitivity analysis is done for some critical parameters and the results are analysed.
