This paper designs a supply chain network with considering environmental concerns and interconnects facility through lateral transshipment in the design of the network. Unbalance and uncertain demand and supply cause changeover facility’s capacity can compensate through lateral transshipment between facilities. The decision variables are choosing facilities to open, environmental investment level for adopting clean technology in each facility and flow of products between nodes in each route. The objectives of the problem are minimizing total cost and Co2 emission of the network. Environmental investment on production technology and selection, transportation mode such as rail, road and air play important roles on concerned objectives. A fuzzy multi-objective mathematical programming model is proposed for the considered problem under inherent uncertainty of demand, costs, capacities and technological variables. Solving a numerical example shows the applicability of the model in the real world and the effect of the transshipment assumption on the reduction of costs due to uncertain demand, capacity and cost.
