Application of BSC-DEA Method to Evaluate the Performance of Credit and Facilities Unit (Case Study: Credit Institution Tose’e)

Credit and facilities unit through the allocation of financial resources, operates as a powerful lever in the economic system. the importance of improving in the efficiency of the operation of this unit is such that it leads to an increase in financial flows and economic growth in the community. For the first time, the multi-stage DEA model based on the BSC has been used in this paper for evaluating the performance of Credit and facilities unit of the branches of credit institution Tose’e. Through 11 indicators identified as input and output variables, the performance rating of branches in each of the four perspectives of the balanced scorecard was calculated independently. The overall and systematic performance of branches measured by the dual approaches of DEA network and in the end, the efficient branches using Borda as a multi-criteria decision-making method, were ranked.
