مطالعه خشونت از متن جامعه تا متن نوشتار: تحليل گفتمان خشونت در رمان زمين اميل زولا

Violence from Society to Text: An Analysis of Violence Discourse in Earth by Emile Zola

خشونت يكي از خصوصيات مشترك رفتاري انسان و حيوان است. مطالعه دقيق اين رفتار‌ در جامعه حيوانات مي‌تواند اطلاعاتِ شناختي مفيدي را جهت برخورد با برخي ستيزه‌جويي‌ها كه به خشونت‌ كلامي منجر مي‌شوند، در اختيار نهد. از ديدگاه رفتارشناسي، چون موقعيت‌هاي اجتماعيِ خشونت در جوامع انساني ـ حيواني قابل دسته‌بندي‌اند، لذا مي‌توان ويژگي عمدۀ هر رفتار ستيزه‌جويانه و يا خشن را تبيين و بررسي‌نمود. خشونت مي‌تواند در سطح درون‌گروهي و يا ميان‌گروهي بوقوع بپيوندد. همچنين در جوامع انساني، خشونت ميتواند غالبا از نوع كلامي باشد كه براي تهديد و آزار ديگري استفاده مي‌شود. در اين تحقيق، علاوه بر مطالعه كلي ريشه‌ها و شكل‌هاي خشونت در متن جامعه، به ماهيت گفتمانِ خشونت، بعنوان يك پديدۀ زبان‌شناختي با نگاه‌ تحليلي هريس، زبان شناس امريكايي، پرداخته شده است. سپس گفتمانِ خشونت در يك نمونه نوشتار ادبي، منتخبي از كتاب زمين اميل زولا نويسنده ناتوراليست فرانسوي، بررسي و نقد شده‌است. نهايتاً نشان داده‌ايم كه چگونه ادبيات آيينۀ انعكاس رفتارهاي اجتماعي و جايگاه ثبت آن‌هاست و نيز چگونه اين رفتارها و ناهنجاري‌هاي اجتماعي بر سبك‌هاي ادبي تآثير گذارند وسبب خلق آثار خاص مي‌گردند.

Violence is a common characteristic of human and animals behavior. A careful study of animal behavior provides cognitive information that helps deal with verbal violence. From the point of view of behavioral science, social situations of violence in human and animal societies can be classified and evaluated. For instance, violence can be studied on an intragroup or intergroup level. In human societies, violence can also be verbal, and used to threaten and abuse others. In this research study, in addition to the general study of the origins and forms of violence in society, we analyze the nature of verbal violence as a linguistic phenomenon. Moreover, we critique the discourse of violence in Earth, a novel by Emile Zola, using Harris s approach in order to demonstrate how a text reflects social aggression. So we underline in Zola s artwork the behavior of people in southwestern Paris, how they trampled religious morals and principles, and how their social behavior influenced the style of Zola and made it a rough, frank and pointed naturalism.
