بررسي تجربي تركهاي عرضي جوش سر به سر خطوط انتقال گاز

Experimental Investigation of Transverse Cracks on butt weld joints of gas Transmission Pipeline

درهنگام اجراي خطوط لوله گاز، ترك هاي عرضي جوش سربه سر خط انتقال مي‌تواند تحت شرايطي از ديد آزمايشات پرتونگاري و آلتراسونيك پنهان بمانند. عمق و دهانه كوچك ترك‌ها و ضخامت‌هاي بالاي لوله ديده نشدن اين ميكرو ترك‌ها را تشديد مي‌نمايند. ترك‌هاي عرضي به علت امكان رشد در قطعه همواره خطرناك بوده است، زيرا در صورت رشد به داخل فلز پايه حركت كرده و موجب تخريب لوله خواهد شد. در اين تحقيق ترك عرضي جوش سربه سر خط 56 اينچ فولادي انتقال گـــــاز به مشـــخصات API5LX70 بررسي شده است. اين ترك‌هاي عرضي توسط پيگ هوشمند عيب جوش گزارش شده و پس از حفاري و آزمون راديوگرافي از جوش محيطي مشاهده شده است. سپس آزمايشات متعددي از قبيل خواص مكانيكي، آناليز شيميايي، متالوگرافي، تهيه تصاوير با ميكروسكوپ الكتروني از مقطع شكست وطيف سنجي پراش پرتو ايكس از نقاط مختلف جوش به عمل آمده است، نتايج نشان مي‌دهدكه وجود انواع ناخالصي مخصوصا از نوع MnS، تفاوت درسختي نمونهها در بين پاس‌هاي مختلف جوش كه ناشي از جنس نامرغوب الكترود، تنش‌هاي پس ماند فشاري شديد در ناحيه جوش، باعث ترك خوردن جوش و رشد آن به نواحي مختلف مي‌شوند.

During the performance of gas pipelines and under some conditions, the transverse cracks of butt weld joints are hardly visible in radiography and ultrasonic tests. Depth and narrow opening of cracks and high thickness of pipes, make it harder to see these micro cracks. Since the transverse cracks may spread through the pipes bodies, they have always been dangerous. If the cracks spread, they will spread through the basic metal too and this will destroy the pipe. In this article, we study the transvers cracks on butt weld joints of pipe 56” steel gas pipeline with these specifications API5LX70. This transvers cracks have been reported by anomalous girth weld intelligent pig; and have been specified after digging and radiography test from girth welded. We did a lot of tests for this study such as; mechanical properties, chemical analysis, metallography, SEM and EDX from different parts of the weld. The results of these tests show that existence of different kinds of impurity especially from MnS type and difference in toughness of samples among different passes of welds which are the result of low quality electrodes and compressive residual stresses in the welded area are the reasons for the crack of the weld and it’s spreading through the other areas.
