The extent of mined lands especially the waste dump and disturbance areas due to mining activities is being increased more and more, thus, mine reclamation method want to be performed appropriately. The main objective of this research study is to select the appropriate plant kind for planting the mined land as a reclamation plan to protect the environment from impacts of mining operations. In this regard, Sarcheshmeh Copper Mine, one of the world s 10 biggest copper mines, was chosen as a case study. Primarily, the major plant kinds were selected based on reclamation plan’s elementary criteria such as type of post mining land use, climate, nature of soil and reclamation plan’s secondary criteria, achieved from expert s opinion, were then prioritized by Fuzzy-Topsis and Fuzzy AHP methods. The secondary criteria were found as follows: perspective of the region, resistance insects and against disease, strength and method of growth, accessibility to plant kind, economic efficiency, support of storing water and soil and prevention from pollution. Consequently, the locateings showed that the most suitable plant kinds for reclamation plan were prioritized as: Amygdalus scoparia, Pistachio Wild, Tamarix, Ephedra, Astragalus, Salsola, respectively.
