The convolution quadrature can be well described by the Mikusi\ {n}ski operational calculus using convolution semigroup. We present a numerical method for the anomalous diffusion equation by using convolution quadrature for temporal discretization and Bernstein polynomial projection for spatial representation. The stability and accuracy of the method are then discussed.
