The purpose of this study was to determine if any significant relationships existed between principals ethical leadership as measured by Ethical Leadership Scale (Brown Trevino, 2005) and high school teachers job engagement as gauged by Job Engagement scale (Schaufeli and et al., 2002) of two educational district in Sanandaj in the 2014-2015 academic year. The sample involved 343 Iranian high school teachers identified among 686 teachers through a random sampling process. These teachers completed two questionnaires. Means and standard deviations of the teachers’ scores determined the ethical leadership behavior of school principals and the level of job engagement among high school teachers in Sanandaj. Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient revealed statistically significant relationships between principals’ ethical leadership and teachers’ job engagement. Multiple regression analysis provided closer scrutiny of the data. In terms of the three components of ethical leadership (respect employees, modeling, moral sensitivity in practice), Job Engagement was predicted by moral sensitivity in practice category but wasn’t predicted by respect employees and Modeling categories. Clarification of this relationship can identify implications for educational policy and decision making. Future research should explore the use of longitudinal or qualitative research methodology to study the variables of this study in greater depth.
