Osteoarthritis or knee osteoarthritis is one of the most common articular diseases in humans. Its ‎clinical manifestations are pain, swelling and decreased joint function. Alternative and ‎complementary therapies have a long history of treating the disease and are even used as a ‎selective treatment under certain conditions. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of ‎herbal oil of Nela Arthro on clinical improvement of knee osteoarthritis patients. 225 patients ‎with primary knee osteoarthritis were studied over 12 weeks. Nela Arthro oil was taken 3 times ‎daily by patients and pain variables (based on VAS-100mm) and function (based on WOMAQ ‎questionnaire) were measured at intervals of 0, 6 and 12 weeks. Pain at rest in weeks 6 and 12, ‎and a significant decrease significantly. Pain during activity also decreased in the treatment ‎group at weeks 6 and 12 was acceptable. According to the findings of this study, consumption of ‎Nela arthro oil compared with other products was significantly associated with a reduction in ‎pain in knee joints.‎
