We report on anodization of bamboo-type TiO2 nanotube arrays in an electrolyte consisting of 0.3%wt NH4F in eyhylene glycol (EG) with 5%vol H2O, using different pulses to be used as photoanodes in dye sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). The morphology of obtained arrays consisting of closely packed TiO2 nanotubes was characterized by feild emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM). X-ray diffraction confirmed anatase crystal phase. All DSSCs based on bamboo-type TiO2 nanotube arrays show higher efficiencies than smooth-walled nanotubes.
