چكيده فارسي :
We analysed genetic variation within and between populations of the economic important timber tree, Chukrasia tabularis in order to extract biological information useful in the context of conservation management of Asia countries genetic resources of hardwood species. C. tabularis is a species that distributed mainly in South and Southeast Asia. Our survey of isoenzyme was conducted on material gathered from international provenance trials over 8 countries for 25 populations. A total of 1250 seedlings were typed at 6 isoenzyme loci. Analysis of within-population inbreeding suggests no-indication of inbreeding or in a few cases, of genetic selection following the given environmental conditions. Difference among population expected only about 8.7% of total genetic diversity.
