A new series of non-Iranian wheat (primary tritipyrum lines: 2n=6x=42, AABBEbEb) derived from intergenetic hybridization between Triticum durum (2n=4x=28, AABB) and Thinopyrum bessarabicum (2n=2x=24 EbEb). This new non Iranian amphiploid wheat is a dual-purpose crop, with continuous tillering and perennial behavior. In order to evaluate the yield and its components 50 g seeds of 13 non Iranian primary tritipyrum lines, with nine Iranian bread wheat cultivars and five promising triticale lines were sown in a randomized completely block design (RCBD) with three replicates in plots of 2.5 m2 at the research field of Agricultural College of Bahonar University, Kerman, Iran. At maturity stage, the following traits:spike length (cm),spike diameter (cm),seeds per spike, spikelet per spike, seeds per spikelet, number ofside florets per spike, number of seeds per side florets, number of seed per middle florets, seed length (cm), seed diameter (cm), 100-grain weight (g), 1000–grain weight (g), spikes per plant, tillers per plant, fertile spikes per plant, fertility, chaff weight per plant (g), grain yield per plant (g), harvest index per plant (%) and biological yield per plant (g) were measured or counted. Results showed 1) significant difference (P 0.05) among all genotypes for all traits except fertile spikes per plant which indicates a considerable phenotypic variation for improvement of non-Iranian primary tritipyrum lines in future; 2) positive and significant correlation coefficient was observed between grain yield with grain per spike (r = 0.56), grain per middle florets (r = 0.57), spikes per plant (r = 0.61), chaff weight per plant (r = 0.81) and biological yield (r=0.92) per plant and 3) The squared Euclidean distance and ward hierarchical cluster analysis were grouped all 27 genotypes of these three amphiploid in two separate four clusters for grain yield and its components which can help in selecting the suitable non-Iranian wheat in next generations of cultivation.
