Blackberry belongs to the Rosaceae family which grows inmanyregions of Iran. Due to the global warming, investigating the responses of blackberry genotypes to temperature changes during growing season is necessary for better management of their cultivation. Therefore, this experiment was designed to study the biochemical changes in blackberry leaves in different times during growing season (June, August, and September). For this purpose 10 genotypes which were collected from different regions of Iran and grown in Badjgah, Shiraz, Iran were investigated. Results showed that when temperature rises during growing season, content of Ascorbate Peroxidase was increased in ‘Sari’ and ‘Kazerun’ genotypes. A significant correlation was also found between the increasing of temperature and the amount of Catalase enzyme in ‘Kazerun’ genotype and the amount of Peroxidase enzyme in ‘Sari’, ‘Chaharmahal-O Bakhtiari’ and ‘Rasht-abad’ genotypes. In general, it may be concluded that based on enzymatic activity the genotypes of ‘Kazerun’, and ‘Sari’ had better adaptation to temperature changes during growing season and so they are the most appropriate genotypes for facing hot temperature, and from this point of view the genotypes of ‘Masooleh’, ‘Rasht-abad’ and ‘Firoozabad’ were the most sensitive genotypes.
