Plant genetic resources are the most valuable reserves of any country. Conservation, identification and sustainable use of genetic resources of this wonderful genetic diversity observed for the success of any program is vital breeding and plant biotechnology. Sustainable agriculture can be an important step for improving the quality of human nutrition and protection of the oceans, forests, deserts and biodiversity of ecosystems that compromise, to take action. Biodiversity is mixed with human needs and survival is not possible without biodiversity why biodiversity conservation can be considered as an element of national security. The hydropolytic ecological aspects of national security cannot be ignored. Being a country with strong national security only in military terms cannot be obtained but today and in the modern world in the light of the criteria for a healthy environment and productivity with high biodiversity will be provided. Biodiversity and conservation values rooted in moral values, cultural and religious nations. Biodiversity and cultural diversity of human cultures close relationship with the living environment is formed around them, and in most religions, respect for biodiversity and the protection of religious teachings. Conservation of biological diversity should be matched by traditional protection of natural resources. With regard to the defensive nature protection and conservation of natural resources is based on the effects of development if the aggressive aspects of biodiversity conservation of biological resources to satisfy human needs and the long-term and sustainable exploitation of biological resources act. This review explores the challenges and methods that eventually lead to food security, biodiversity conservation will be explored. Therefore, in parallel with the development of biotechnology techniques to protect genetic resources as wealth becomes more valuable from day to day. Put a top priority and a national plan and comprehensive research the possibility of better protection and utilization of genes in biological diversity of the country in the application of biotechnology in the country.
