The present study has been done with the aim of The effect an exhaustive training session along with Beta-Alanine supplementation on the isocapnic buffering, hypocapnic hyperventilation phases and male swimmers record that was based on the pre and post test design (single-blind). 16 people of male swimmers with age range 30-33 were selected and were randomly divided two groups of supplement and placebo. During two weeks the supplement group were consumed Beta-Alanine supplement tablets and Control group were expended starch tablets. The respiratory index of subjects were measured by bruce test in before and after the taking tablets. After that, to analyze the data was used of dependent and independent T tests ( with sig level 0.05). The abtained results for isocapnic buffering variable were showed no significant difference in both groups based on dependent T (p=0.19, p=0.25) and independent T (p=0.09) tests, but There was noticeable difference for hypocapnic hyperventilation variable between pre and post test of both groups based on dependent T (p=0.01, P=0.01) although was not seen any difference of independent T (P=0.70). For the last tested parameter, there was no meaningful difference for swimmers record evaluate in both groups of dependent T (P=0.26, P=0.16) and independent T (P=0.31). Finally it can be said the taking of Beta-Alanine with dosage of 2 to 6 gram per day during the two weeks can not be as a sufficient stimulus to development isocapnic buffering and athletes competitive performance, although it was an effective method to progress of hypocapnic hyperventilation that will be arguable in the future.
