Rate of energy release is critical to success in sports that require the development and short term maintenance of high power outputs. During intense exercise rate of ATP utilisation in skeletal muscle is higher than ATP regeneration, which leads to an accumulation of ADP and AMP. Hence, this study aims to examine two different ways preparation of wrestling. Two groups of young wrestler based on body weight were divided to participate in the study: Circuit Training Based on Wrestling Techniques (n = 10) and ordinary wrestling exercise (11). Blood samples were collected before and immediately after one wrestling exercise session. Circuit Training group were conducted six technics with maximum power and other group were done ordinary wrestling exercise in the same time period. The duration of the test were same two wrestling match time with five minutes rest in two groups. The results showed that there are no significance differences in level of plasma HGPRT, hypoxanthine, uric acid and lactate after wrestling exercise session between two groups. But intragroup survey showed significance increase level of HX (P=0/03) and lactate (P=0/0001) in Circuit Training group and HX (P=0/006) and lactate (P=0/001) in other group. A wrestling exercise session led to change purine cycle indices and these two methods of exercise had similar effect on indicators of purine nucleotide cycle.
