Metabolic syndrome is a set of risk factors such as obesity, hyperglycemia, high blood pressure, dyslipidemia that plays a role in the development of cardiovascular disease and the diabetes type II. The purpose of this study is to investigate Effect of aerobic training on index of obesity and lipid profiles and metabolic syndrome in older obese women. The present study is a review of many papers. Aging is the period when most of every human being experiences in his life. It is obvious that with increasing age and reaching this period, risk of diseases are increased and functional abilities and the power of the senses are reduced. Naturally, increasing age is related to reduction of ability to stand upright for maintaining stability and response time to unexpected disruptions. By increasing age, many individual changes in body composition of elderly people occur that separate them in terms of the anthropometric characteristics. One of the most important factors that leads to increase adipose tissue. One of the best determining indexes of body type and anthropometric characteristics of people of all ages is body mass index that is defined as dividing weight in kilograms by the square of height in meters. Recent research shows that exercise is beneficial for anyone at any age. Although physical ability decreases with increasing age, but through regular practice of physical activity, physiological deterioration recession can be reduced by 50%. Consistency of practice depends on the selected training program. In this regard, aerobic and endurance exercises can be mentioned as the hand of endurance training with the use of Aerobic increase the efficiency of the cardiovascular system and increase the energy consumption of fat metabolism and changes in body composition including a relative decrease in body fat and no change in fat-free mass. The main risk factor for metabolic syndrome is overweight and obesity that is considered as the most common risk factor as well. Hyperlipidemia is associated with risk factors levels of cholesterol and blood lipid values. Hyperlipidemia show sabnormal fat and fat molecules that are attached to proteins.
Conclusion:
Aerobic exercises significantly reduces the weight, mass index, body fat percentage, cholesterol increased significantly Lp-density and oxygen consumption maximum result of aerobic exercise training has beneficial effect on lipid profile and improvement of metabolic syndrome in obese women elderly.
