Background: Chemerin is a new adipokine, wich may contribute to the in inflammation and resistance insulin development. This study aimed to investigate effect of eight weeks serum levels of chemerin, glucose and insulin resistance index to circular resistance training in overweight and obese disabled men.
Methods: Twenty subjects aged 25±5 years and with an BMI of 30±2.5 kg/m2 were selected and randomly divided into 2 groups: experimental and control. Experimental group included 10 subjects (3 sessions per week with intensity of 60-65 % and with the gradual increase to 70-80% of repetition maximum in the meetings ended). Participated and 10 Person In the control group during the study period did not have any sports or activity. Blood samples to assess the levels of chemerin, glucose and insulin resistance were taken before the study, after one session and after the eight weeks of training. At the end of spss software was used to analyze the data. The analysis of variance with repeated measures for changes within the group and to change between a group of covariance with regard to the significance level of α 0.05 is used.
Results: The findings showed that one session immediately after and eight weeks of circuit resistance training There changes no significant the Serum levels of chemerin and insulin resistance(p 0.05). It was while the amount of glucose and insulin decreased significantly(p 0.05).
Conclusion: According to the results of this study, Circuit resistance training but has no significant effects on levels of Insulin and chemerin, has a significant effect of serum glucose and Insulin resistance lead to changes than before the training period.
