TD-DFT approach was used to examine the usability of the phthalocyanine compounds in solar cells. Based on the obtained results it was found that substitution has the least effect on the adsorption spectra of the studied compounds and they have been used in solar cells. They were showed high absorption in the visible region of the spectra.
