Stem cell are the cells which have ability ability and divided and multiplied massively in the cell culture. These cells offer potential treatment for clinical application, serving as unlimited source of cells for transplantation and tissue regeneration. Furthermore , the use of the stem cells almost avoids immunorejection during tissue transplantation. There are there methods for accessing these cells;1) derivation of these stem cells from the inner cell mass of blastocyst – stage embryos probably surplus IVF embryos. This technique appears to the easiest and the most economical for accessing the stem cells. The immunorejtion in tissue transplantation during using these cells almost does not occure; 2) the somatic cell nuclear transfer method wherein an enucleated agg cell is transplanted with a somatic cell nucleus and can be used clone genetically matched cells and tissues for transplantations without any immunorejction . this new technique promises future hope foe the treatment of many diseases. This technique is relatively more difficult than the precious methods; 3) derivation of more differentiated stem cells (multipotent cells) from adult human tissues, or embryo (embryonic germ cells from the primordial germ cells of the embryonic gonad that can be provided from implanted embryos, during gestatuonal period). The process of derivation of multipotent cells from adult human tissues are very difficult; furthermore , scientists have not been able to isolate these cells from many tissues so far. The immunorejection in this transplantation is relatively avoided too
