چكيده لاتين :
Regenerations is a process in which the restoration and growth of new cells improves the damaged organs in animals. The Cyprinodontidae family has the ability to repair in various structures of the body. Study of caudal fin regeneration, is a suitable structure to research in this field, due to the high regeneration rate and its simple structure. The objective of this study is to compare the caudal fin regeneration in two species of this family which is living in different ecological environments. For this, the specimens of Aphanius dispar and Aphanius sophiae were selected from two different ecological conditions of salty and fresh water. After anesthetization of the fish specimens, caudal fins were cut and the regeneration process was investigated and compared separately and also between the two species on the second, fifth and seventh days after that. The results showed that during the compared time, the rate of caudal fin regeneration in A. dispar was higher than A. sophiae.
