At the present work presents the extraction equilibrium of copper(II) with lauric acid, Benzene and their mixtures have been studid at atmospheric pressure and in 298 K. Extraction was studied in aqueous phase. The copper concentrations were realized by spectroscopy. The results indicated that the maximum extraction of copper is at pH 5.47 and 5.16.Discovery restrictions by 5×10-4 mol L-1 for copper. Distribution coefficients were measured to determine the extracting capability of the solvent.
