چكيده لاتين :
This research was carried out with the aim of measuring the concentration of heavy metals of arsenic and lead in muscle tissue of two species of Epinephelus chlorostima and Alectis indicus in Bushehr port. 15 specimens of Epinephelus chlorostima and 15 pieces of Alectis indicus were picked through paddle fishing during September and October in Deilam and Genaveh, Persian Gulf. After biometry, the muscle tissue was isolated and samples were digested and the concentration of arsenic and lead metal was measured in tissues using atomic absorption spectrometry. Based on the results, the mean concentration of arsenic in Epinephelus chlorostima and Alectis indicus muscle were calculated to be 0.05 ± 0.01 and 0.19 ± 0.01 μg / g dry weight, respectively and showed a significant difference (P<0.05). Also, based on the results, the mean concentration of lead in Epinephelus chlorostima and Alectis indicus muscle were calculated to be 34.4 ± 0.10 and 3.77 ± 0.25 μg / g of dry weight, respectively and showed a significant difference (P<0.05). According to recorded data and comparison with the WHO and USEPA the rate of accumulation of higher
lead metal and arsenic is lower than the world standard.
