In this paper, an experimental analysis will be performed for a Polyethylene cylindrical vessel. The Polyethylene cylindrical vessel is constituted of a cylindrical part and two spherical domes with metal end nozzles. These kinds of vessels are usable in high pressure vessels as liners such as hydrogen storage tanks and CNG type 4 tanks in vehicles. Length and outer diameter of cylindrical part are 602 and 194 millimeters respectively and the openings diameters are 62.28 millimeters both. The vessel will be tested by applying a hydraulic internal pressure. Hoop and axial strains will be measured using electrical strain gauges and Stresses will be determined knowing strains. The experimental results will be compared with finite element method results.
