In this article impact method of matrix converter on operation induction motor is described. Then feature of this method is expressed. In the following induction motor D-Q model is Considered. In the next step induction motor parameters to be checked by traditional methods and matrix converter method. Compare these two methods confirms the superiority of the matrix converter. In this way, the soft launch of the induction motor. The main purpose of this article is a considerable decrease total harmonic distortion between the matrix converter and traditional method. Fast Fourier transform analysis is used to compare the total harmonic distortion. The simulation results in MATLAB software confirms the superiority.
