Stochastic Modelling of Porous Media Microstructue by Boolean Model

Geometrical description of the microstructure of the porous media, will help the scientists to quantitatively characterize the media and to study their transport properties. In this paper, the so-called Boolean model, in the context of stochastic geometry, and its application for modelling the pore phase is introduced.
