امروزه در بيشتر حوزه ها شاهد تحولات تكنولوژيكي گوناگوني هستيم، يكي از پديده هاي جديدي كه بر اثر ادغام فناوري هاي مختلف ارتباطي در سال هاي اخير شكل گرفته شبكه هاي اجتماعي مجازي هستند.در همين راستا باور اصلي در اين خصوص آن است كه فرهنگ نوين جامعه در تعارض با فرهنگ غالب بزرگان جامعه قرار گرفته و يا با آن فاصله اي قابل تامل يافته است. اساسا مفهوم شكاف در جامعه شناسي به آن دسته از تفاوت ها و تمايزهاي نسبتا پايداري گفته مي شود كه اغلب در جريان تقابل هاي سياسي اجتماعي بروز مي كند و مهم ترين آن شكاف نسلي در خانواده ها مي باشد.اين تحقيق مي خواهد ارتباط بين استفاده از تلگرام و شكاف نسلي را در بين خانواده هاي تهراني مورد بررسي قرار داده است به اين منظور تلگرام با ابعاد(محتوا و فرهنگ پذيري) و شكاف نسلي با ابعاد (ارزشي ، رفتاري، ارتباطي و نگرشي) مورد ارزيابي قرار گرفته اند باتوجه به جامعه آماري حجم نمونه به تعداد 384 بوده كه با استفاده از پرسشنامه مورد تجزيه و تحليل قرار گرفته شده است.يافته ها بر مبناي روش تي تست حاكي از آن است كه بين تلگرام و ابعاد آن با شكاف نسلي تفاوت معناداري در بين خانواده هاي شمال و جنوب شهر تهران وجود ندارد.

One of the new phenomena that has emerged from the integration of various communication technologies in recent years is the emergence of virtual social networks. The basic belief in this is that the modern culture of society Contrary to the dominant culture of the elders of the community, or with that far-reaching consideration. Essentially, the concept of the gap in sociology is called the relatively stable differences and distinctions that often occur in the course of social political conflicts, and the most important is the generation gap in families. The research seeks to link the use of Telegram and generation gap among Tehran families. In this regard, telegrams with dimensions (content and culture) and the generation gap with dimensions (value, behavior, communication and attitude) have been evaluated. According to the statistical society The sample size was 384 and analyzed using a questionnaire. Findings Based on T-test, there is no significant difference between the telegram and its dimensions with the generational gap in the families of the north and south of Tehran.
