Lack of attention to process safety management systems is the main factor of numerous events that are happening in the oil, gas and petrochemical industry, each year. Likelihood of fires and explosion are two major hazards associated with chemical process industries. It is the necessary to study explosion and fires together with their consequences. The proposed of analyses and calculations are used to determine safe lines and distance from tank storage and their probable consequences, taking individual and societal risk into account and these analyses play an important role in dealing with emergency incident. To analyze the dispersion of release toxic and flammable material, there are some models like PHAST, ALOHA, SLAB and DEGADIS. Whole aim of this study is consequence assessment of explosion caused by leakage accrued at the most critical .This paper presents a risk assessment for hazards associated with tank Propane Storage that located in Pars Petrochemical Company and determine and categorize the minimum distance from the site for areas which is very important in the stations exposed to high risks with PHAST.
